Account manager Belgium

MTD is continuing its growth in the Belgian market and is looking for an Account Manager Belgium. This is a challenging position in the dynamic world of events, exhibitions and other industrial projects in a globally growing organisation.

You will be responsible for the rental of MTD products and services in Belgium. In this role, you will maintain and develop the current client portfolio and acquire new clients. You will also be ultimately responsible for the commercial side of projects - from the initial site visit to the project evaluation with the client. You are creative in the rental process and can add more value for our customers based on sustainability. You will report to the Sales Manager Europe.

Job content
  • Proactively manage current client portfolio and acquire new clients;
  • Approve quotes and create customer-specific quotes yourself;
  • Make framework agreements, price agreements and negotiations with customers;
  • Carry sales and margin responsibility;
  • Working closely with Engineering & Design (work preparation) and the project managers;
  • Visit the site as necessary before, during and after the project;
  • Actively involved in project meetings at client and on-site;
  • Develop oneself technically and sales-wise by attending (internal) training courses;
  • Shared responsibility for customer payments;
  • Proactively collaborate with various disciplines at MTD's headquarters in Tilburg.
What makes you the right candidate?
  • An experienced professional with knowledge of the events market;
  • Able to work on several projects simultaneously, making proper analysis of data
  • Have a college education or equivalent work and thinking level;
  • Be positive and enthusiastic;
  • A driven team player with strong communication skills and be a real doer;
  • Proactive, creative and able to work independently;
  • Dutch and English proficiency (written and oral);
  • French proficiency (written and oral) is a plus;
  • Understand that the events industry is not a 9-to-5 business;
  • Be presentable and have demonstrable experience with market segment customers.
