MTD FLEX continues its growth and is looking for an Account Manager for MTD Flex Benelux.

A challenging position in an international working environment within a globally growing organisation. As a water partner, MTD Flex connects urgent and (un)planned projects in different locations. Key sectors you will work with include: defence, industry and multinationals, NGOs, government, temporary accommodations, water utilities and offshore. In line with MTD's ambitions, you look forward to expanding the growth of MTD Flex.

In your role as account manager, no day is the same. You are responsible for the commercialisation of various unique projects. From the first site visit to the evaluation of a project with the customer. You will maintain and develop the current account portfolio and acquire new accounts. You are responsible for the quality of the executed projects and you are able to make strong analyses of developments within the market. You work closely with Engineering & Design and with experienced project managers.

Job content
  • Proactively manage current client portfolio and acquire new clients;
  • Approve quotes and create customer-specific quotes yourself;
  • Make framework agreements, price agreements and negotiations with customers;
  • Carry sales and margin responsibility;
  • Working closely with Engineering & Design (work preparation) and the project managers;
  • Visit the site as necessary before, during and after the project;
  • Actively involved in project meetings at client and on-site;
  • Proactively collaborate with various disciplines at MTD's headquarters in Tilburg.
  • Shared responsibility for customer payments;
What makes you the right candidate?
  • An experienced professional with knowledge of our Flex market ( utilities, semi-permanent housing and camps, water storage silos, production stops, agriculture and disaster relief/emergency response);
  • Able to work on several projects simultaneously, making proper analysis of data
  • Have a college education or equivalent work and thinking level;
  • Be positive and enthusiastic;
  • A driven team player with strong communication skills and be a real doer;
  • Proactive, creative and able to work independently;
  • Dutch and English proficiency (written and oral);
  • French proficiency (written and oral) is a plus;
  • Be presentable and have demonstrable experience with market segment customers.
