Account Manager UK & Ireland

We are looking for an Account Manager for the UK & Ireland. A challenging position in an international division within a globally growing organisation. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the customer base of the best-known events and festivals in the UK & Ireland.

You will be responsible for selling MTD products and services in the events industry. You will acquire new clients and maintain and develop the existing client portfolio. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the commercial side of a project - from the initial site visit to the evaluation of a project with the client. You are creative in the rental process and can create added value for clients based on sustainability. This is a challenging position in the dynamic world of trade fairs and events. You will report to our Sales Manager Monique.

Job content
  • Proactive management of current client portfolio and acquisition of new clients;
  • Preparation of custom offers based on the request;
  • You make framework and price agreements and negotiate with customers;
  • Being creative when it comes to closing deals;
  • Responsibility for sales and margins;
  • Working closely with the Engineering & Design department and project managers;
  • Site visits before, during or after a project;
  • Proactively collaborate with various departments within MTD and with our head office in the Netherlands.
What makes you the right candidate?
  • An experienced sales professional with event knowledge;
  • Flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work and thinking level;
  • You are a dedicated team player with strong communication skills;
  • You are proactive, creative and can work independently;
  • You understand that the events industry is not always a 9-to-5 business;
  • Representative and demonstrable experience with market segment clients.
