In the HR Business Partner position, you will be the point of contact and executor within the organisation for the more complex HR and employee issues. This for both the domestic and foreign branches. You act as advisor and sparring partner to the management team at tactical and operational level and are able to translate the HR strategy into the advice and solutions you provide. You are also the ambassador on behalf of HR for our foreign branches. You are accessible and visible and know how to add value where necessary. You do this solicited and unsolicited.
From your role, you will also be responsible for the operational management of the HR Officers and ensure correct (implementation) of payroll, pension provisions and (necessary) insurance.
As an extension of the Global HR Director, you are jointly responsible for drawing up and implementing the HR strategy. You also play an important role in translating the HR strategy into policy and processes.
Within MTD, you will work in the role of HR Business Partner in our HR department at the head office in Tilburg. Currently, the HR department consists of a Global HR Director, HR Business Partner, Corporate Recruiter and two HR Officers.
Tasks & Responsibilities
As HR Business Partner, your responsibilities include:
- Advising management and board;
- Picking up the more complex HR and employee issues;
- Contribute to the drafting and implementation of the HR strategy;
- Develop and optimise policies and processes;
- You advise and ensure proper follow-up in case of long-term absence;
- Managing HR Officers;
- Coaching and advising towards our foreign companies;
- Audit payroll;
- You participate in (improvement) projects.
In addition, you will support where necessary:
- Administrative and organisational work in the areas of entry, transfer and exit (such as drafting employment contracts, confirmation letters, etc.);
- Processing staff and salary changes;
- Updating personnel files.
What makes you the right candidate
- You have a minimum of HBO working and thinking level;
- You have completed a relevant education (such as HRM, Legal Officer, Employment Law, etc.);
- You have gained extensive experience in an HR function as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, preferably within an international organisation;
- You have in-depth knowledge of HR processes and topics such as inflow, throughput and outflow, sick leave, salary changes, employment contracts, etc.;
- You can communicate clearly and interact easily with employees, managers and management;
- You work meticulously, create overview and structure and do not lose sight of things;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English at a business level;
- You are able to set your own priorities, are flexible and autonomous;
- You have a proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems independently.
