As Operations Manager Benelux, based in Tilburg, you will manage the Operations Team, consisting of project managers, engineers (field engineers) and planning, on a daily basis. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and controlling MTD's daily operational activities within the Benelux.
You liaise closely with account and project managers on the progress of acquired projects, and with the team of field engineers on execution. Customer satisfaction, quality, efficient use of personnel, resources and materials and the implementation of process improvements are central to your role.
As Operations Manager Benelux, you are ultimately responsible for the operational performance and results of all projects within the Benelux. You own the execution and take decisions necessary to achieve agreed targets.
You will report to the Operations Manager Europe.
Job content
- Leads the entire operational department within the Benelux region (project managers, planner and field engineers) on a daily basis;
- Ensures proper coordination between the Operations team, Engineering & Design and Fleet;
- Is responsible for the quality and timely delivery of projects;
- Identifies early bottlenecks that may affect project implementation and resolves them;
- Manages the hiring and deployment of seasonal labour;
- Monitors recording of hours and costs, as well as pre- and post-calculations of projects;
- Regularly visits project sites;
- Reports on operational performance and implements optimisations.
