MTD continues its growth in the European market and will expand the team with a Sales Manager Events Europe.

As Sales Manager Events Europe, you are responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities for the events sector working with the team in Europe. You develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational goals, manage and motivate the Sales Team, and ensure sustainable growth in alignment with MTD’s mission. You report to the CCO and collaborate closely with various departments to optimize sales performance and client relationships. Today, MTD operates from four locations in Europe: Tilburg (Netherlands), Swindon (UK), Paris (France) and Berlin (Germany).

The ideal location is Tilburg, but any other European MTD location is negotiable.

Job content
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets;
  • Lead, guide, train, and motivate the Sales Team to maximize performance;
  • Implement and monitor sales metrics and analyse data to drive improvements;
  • Build and maintain a strong and consistent client base;
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, event industry developments, and competitive landscapes;
  • Identify and implement growth strategies and business opportunities;
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering & Design, Operations and other departments to align sales efforts;
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the Management Team;
  • Maintain accurate records of client base, team performance, and sales objectives;
  • If necessary, take corrective actions to ensure sales targets are met.
What makes you the right candidate?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field;
  • Proven experience and success in national sales management;
  • Experience in leading a sales team across multiple locations;
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with clients and internal teams;
  • English proficiency (written and oral);
  • French proficiency (written and oral) is a plus;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail;
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
