MTD Pure Water is seeking a high-performing Account Manager to accelerate growth within the U.S. events market. This role is focused on new business acquisition, revenue expansion, and market penetration focused on major festivals and large sporting events.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning the full commercial cycle—from prospecting and lead generation through deal closure and post-project evaluation. Success in this role requires a proactive, results-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and consistently delivers against ambitious growth targets. You will be part of the MTD Sales team in a growing business in the North American market
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – General Manager MTD USA
Location: Atlanta, GA. or Las Vegas, NV
Key Responsibilities
- Drive aggressive new business development, identifying, targeting, and securing high-value event clients across the U.S.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, with clear focus on conversion, velocity, and revenue growth
- Own the entire sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, site visits, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
- Expand existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, while prioritizing net-new revenue and profitability
- Develop and execute account penetration strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Position MTD’s solutions as a value-driven, sustainability-focused differentiator in competitive bids
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Project Management and Marketing) to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline, ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance tracking
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets, KPIs, and activity metrics
- Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to identify strategic opportunities and risks
What makes you the right candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering or related field
- Self-starter profile with a strong track record of acquiring new business and exceeding goals
- Experience in B2B solution selling, ideally in events, infrastructure, rental, or related industries
- Demonstrated ability to manage longer, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills with a results-oriented, resilient mindset
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable operating with clear performance accountability
- Team player willing to align with other members of the MTD Sales and Project teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels
- Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience (e.g., Hubspot) strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites and events
