For Brussels Expo, we are looking for a Site Coordinator

As Site Coordinator, you are responsible for the proper preparation of trade shows at your site. You keep in close contact with the customer. You ensure proper planning of staff (in consultation with the head office planner)

What will you do?

Coordination & communication

  • Coordinating with customers, trade fair organisers, suppliers and internal departments
  • Maintaining intensive contact with Brussels Expo staff
  • Conduct consultations with regular exhibition and supply chain partners and feed relevant information back within MTD

Preparation & planning

  • Drawing up schedules for assembly and disassembly, including service and maintenance moments
  • Work preparation: drawing up floor plans, materials management and personnel planning
  • Coordination of staff deployment in consultation with the central planner

Implementation & operation

  • Managing colleagues and ensuring correct execution of work
  • Connecting and managing drinking water, drainage and compressed air connections
  • Responsible for on-site service, fault handling and continuity
  • Managing the warehouse and performing minor maintenance on materials

Quality, safety & reporting

  • Ensuring safety and overview on the exhibition floor
  • Responsible for ensuring water quality as per guidelines
  • Ensuring correct administrative processing of projects
  • Internal reporting on progress, bottlenecks and details
  • Preparation and communication of fixed price lists for standard facilities towards the expo

What makes you the right candidate?

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position;
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch ( French is an advantage )
  • Customer-oriented, service-oriented and results-oriented personality;
  • Excellent organisational and improvisational skills;
  • Takes initiative and ensures correct execution of daily work and implementation of new tasks.
  • Technical insight and quality awareness;
  • Stress-resistant and flexible.
  • Full-time and flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
  • Living in or around Brussels.
  • Communicative strong, organisational, independent, solution-oriented, stress-resistant and technical understanding.
  • Experience with water and drainage (plumbing/installation engineering)
