HR Support Officer 

As an HR Support Officer, you will be familiar with all HR processes and act as the linchpin of the HR department, liaising on all ongoing issues for staff and managers. From organising onboarding days for new staff, drawing up payroll guidelines, ensuring all personnel changes are processed in a timely manner, to arranging for our mechanics’ forklift certificates to be submitted or providing clarity on contract renewals. Your role is very varied and there are short lines of communication!

Job vacancy: HR Support Assistant | 32 or 40 hours | Tilburg | Salary: €2,797 to €4,000

At MTD, as an HR Support Officer, you will be part of our HR team at our head office in Tilburg. The HR team currently consists of an HR Director, an HR Business Partner, a fellow HR Support Officer and a Corporate Recruiter. As an HR Support Officer, you will work for both our domestic and international branches from our office in Tilburg.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing staff and salary changes and maintaining staff files
• Handling first-line HR issues and the HR mailbox
• Carrying out administrative HR tasks
• Supporting and facilitating the onboarding of new staff
• Recording notifications of sickness and return to work
• Taking part in (improvement) projects
• Managing the MTD fleet

What makes you the right candidate 

• You have completed a degree in HRM and have (work placement) experience

• Experience as an HR officer, recruitment consultant or HR administration officer is an advantage

• You work meticulously, keep things organised and don’t lose sight of the big picture when things get busy

• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written

• You are able to set priorities, are flexible and independent, and enjoy working with the team to achieve results

• This role is also suitable for candidates who have recently graduated from a higher professional education programme.

• An employment contract for 32 or 40 hours per week, with the prospect of a permanent position;

• A starting salary of between €2,797 and €4,000 gross per month, based on a 40-hour week;

• A travel allowance (for commutes of 10 km or more) and a pension scheme;

• 8% holiday pay and 30 days’ holiday based on a 40-hour week;
