Within MTD, in the role of HR-Officer, you will work in our HR department at the head office in Tilburg. Currently, the HR department consists of a Global HR Director, HR Business Partner, Corporate Recruiter and two HR Officers.
As an experienced HR Officer (HR Employee), you will work for both the domestic and international offices. You are responsible and involved in all day-to-day tasks such as; first-line issues, HR mailbox, mutations in salary and personnel files and inflow, throughput, and outflow.
You are (jointly) responsible for correct payroll administration and play a role in absence management if necessary. You are also the first point of contact for employees and managers, dealing with questions and advising them on these matters.
Tasks & Responsibilities
As an HR Officer, your duties will include:
- Processing staff and salary changes;
- Updating personnel files;
- You will perform administrative and organisational work in the areas of entry, transfer and exit (such as drafting employment contracts, confirmation letters, etc.);
- You will support and facilitate the onboarding of new employees.
- You will be the point of contact for employee queries. May provide information and advice to employees and managers;
- You register and report sick and get well notifications;
- You will monitor the implementation of the sick leave policy, liaising with the Occupational Health and Safety Service;
- You are a contact for external organisations (such as employment agencies and health and safety service);
- You participate in (improvement) projects;
- You play a role in the (further) development and implementation of HRM strategies, policies and procedures.
What makes you the right candidate
- You have at least MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level;
- You have completed a relevant education (such as HRM, Legal Officer, Employment Law, etc.);
- You have gained extensive experience in an HR function as an HR Officer or HR Officer;
- You have sufficient knowledge of HR processes and topics such as entry, transfer and exit, sick leave, salary changes, employment contracts, etc.;
- You can communicate clearly and interact easily with employees, managers and management;
- You work meticulously, create overview and structure and do not lose sight of things;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English at a business level;
- You are able to set your own priorities, are flexible and autonomous;
- You have a proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems independently.
