In the position of Manager HR, you are the point of contact within the organisation for all HR-related matters and for the more complex HR and employee issues. This for both the domestic and foreign branches.
You function as an advisor and sparring partner of the management team at strategic and tactical level and are able to design the HR strategy, create support and translate it into practical advice and solutions. You are also the ambassador on behalf of HR for our foreign branches. You are accessible and visible and know how to add value where necessary. You do this solicited and unsolicited.
Within MTD, in the role of Manager HR, you will be responsible for our HR department at the head office in Tilburg. The HR department consists of a Manager HR, HR Officer, HR Support Officer and a Corporate Recruiter.
Tasks & Responsibilities
As Manager HR, your duties will include:
- Advising management and board;
- Managing the HR team
- Contribute to the drafting and implementation of the HR strategy;
- Managing payroll;
- Develop and optimise policies and processes;
- Picking up the more complex HR and employee issues;
- Advise and ensure proper follow-up in case of long-term absence;
- Coaching and advising our foreign companies;
- Participate in (improvement) projects.
What makes you the right candidate
- You have a minimum of HBO working and thinking level;
- You have completed a relevant education
- You have gained extensive experience as a Manager HR or HR Business Partner, preferably within an international organisation.
- You have managerial experience
- You have in-depth knowledge of HR processes and topics such as entry, transfer and exit, sick leave, personnel administration, employment contracts, etc;
- You can communicate clearly and interact easily with employees, managers and management;
- You create overview and structure and do not lose sight of things;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English at a business level;
- You are able to set your own priorities, are flexible and autonomous;
- You have a proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems independently.
- You are available 32-40 hours per week
